Sony has brought a lawsuit against Tencent in the US, accusing the Chinese firm of infringing its copyright with an upcoming game that it says closely resembles its Horizon franchise. Tencent announced Light of Motiram, an open-world survival title, last year, that instantly caught people's attention for its similarities to Horizon games. As per Reuters, Sony is now suing the company, claiming the game is a “slavish clone” of its first-party action-adventure franchise. Sony Sues Tencent Over Copyright Infringement According Reuters' report, Sony said in its lawsuit that Tencent's Light of Motiram copies several elements from Guerrilla Games' Horizon Zero Dawn and its sequel Horizon Forbidden West.
